WSG London Accessibility Evening, February 2007
Tuesday, April 17, 2007On 28th February 2007, I got the opportunity to talk about web accessibility in Stuart Colville's WSG London meetup. Stuart's been working hard to make the podcasts of that evening available - I didn't make it easy for him by walking around while I was giving my talk, but the audio quality came out okay.
I got to speak alongside Ann McMeekin, who works on the RNIB's web consultancy wing, and Niqui Merret, a Flash developer with excellent knowledge of accessible Flash.
The podcasts are available, and my slides for my talk are also available in MP3 format, my slides are in PDF.
- Accessible Flash - Niqui Merret 21Mb
- Accessibility, what not to do - Ann McMeekin 16Mb
- Web Accessibility - Mike Davies 40Mb, and slides
- Accessibility Questions and Answers 24Mb
Thanks to Stuart for organising yet another high quality event, and also making it free of charge. The WSG London is quickly becoming a great venue for an informal get-together of web professionals. And thanks to Niqui and Ann for making themselves available to talk about web accessibility.
