Last sixteen
Highlight of the round was Poland's new away strip, sponsored by the US government, with the motto "Don't forget Poland" instead of the player names. Ron Atkinson's Buggeredifiknowovich resurfaces to score a dramatic early goal before England take control of the game and squeeze Poland in the second-half.

Quarter Finals
Highlight of the round was England's exit to Holland. England were disqualified after failing to name five players on the pitch for the penalty shoot-out. Sven tried substituting the entire team with random spectators from the crowd, but the referee disallowed it, thus invalidating all of England's penalty takers.
Germany suffer a shock loss to Argentina, after their substitute goalkeeper Faulklund gets knocked in the nuts by an exocet strike by the Argentinean captain.

Semi-finals
Brazil outclass Argentina even though Ronaldinhio gets sent off after showing the Argentine captain how Maradonna really pulled off his Hand of God goal against England. It involved waving his middle finger at the Argentinean player, which the referee mistook for a rude gesture.

World Cup Final 2006
Brazil looked ragged against Holland in the final, perhaps encouraged by the late night drinking and smoking session with the Dutch team. The Brazilian team make great strides in learning the European way of life, and many times through the game sees their players a little unsteady, but manfully continue with the age old: "Whoo, what a trip, dude."
France thwart Argentina before the game even starts, by handing over an unpaid bill from 1982 involving Exocet missiles. France sic debt collectors on the Argentineans on the morning of the game demanding immediate payment. Diego Maradonna is offered up as a compromise, but the English lawyers representing the French reject it using the "Act of God" defence citing a lack of return on investment.
