Climbing Everest is easier than using inaccessible websites

From an article in the Chicago Tribune (18 Jan 2003), Blind adventurer scales tech world, Erik Weihenmayer, a blind mountain climber has scaled Mount Everest: "But when you've scaled Everest, inaccessible technology is merely another mountain to climb ... When people see a blind person standing on top of the world, it shatters their perceptions into a million pieces, and it forces them to rebuild their perceptions. When they do, there is more opportunity."
